Gaza Strip: Israel assures escape corridor until 3 p.m.
Israel's army has once again given civilians in the embattled northern Gaza Strip a window of opportunity to flee to the south of the coastal region. The escape corridor would be open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time (8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CET), the army announced on Platform X. In addition, all civilians stuck on the coast in the north would be able to head east to the main Salah Al-Din road in the south between 10:00 and 16:00 local time in order to reach the region south of Wadi Gaza.
IDF humanitarian efforts:
🔴 The evacuation corridors will remain open between 09:00-16:00 for civilians through the Salah Al-Din route southward of Wadi Gaza.
🔴Additionally, all those located on the northern coastline, from 10:00-16:00, the evacuation corridor will remain… https://t.co/BjXoDaJRJk

There will also be a humanitarian pause in fighting in the southern city of Rafah from 10:00 to 14:00 local time west of the Salah Al-Din road. All civilians who are prevented from fleeing by the terrorist organization Hamas can contact the Israeli army by telephone or via the Telegram platform, the tweet said in English and Arabic. The situation was particularly difficult for patients in hospitals in the north, who were unable to be transported due to the severity of their injuries or illnesses.
Israel has been calling on the civilian population in the city of Gaza and in the north for weeks to move to the south of the sealed-off coastal strip for their own safety. However, there have also been several Israeli airstrikes in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. According to the army, these were exclusively targeted attacks on members of the Islamist Hamas. The information could not initially be independently verified.
The ongoing conflicts in the Middle East have led to a dire situation in the Gaza Strip, with civilians often caught in the crossfire. Despite this, Israel has assured an escape corridor until 3 p.m., providing a temporary respite for those looking to flee the Northern Gaza Strip, potentially through the Salah Al-Din route or the coastline area.
