A convicted criminal in Lower Bavaria, who had escaped during a temporary release, was apprehended again. As the police reported, they arrested the 24-year-old late in the evening around 11:30 PM, without resistance, following useful tips from the public in Plattling near a supermarket. Since Thursday afternoon, a large number of officers had been searching for him.

The man, convicted for a homicide, is reportedly being held at the district hospital in Mainkofen, Deggendorf. The police described the man as "extremely dangerous". The Somali national had been on the loose with two hospital staff members in Plattling.

The man's escape occurred in the region of Lower Bavaria, particularly in the town of Plattling. The arrest of the dangerous criminal was facilitated by the cooperation of the community in Plattling.
