Fuel storage facility in Russia captures flames following drone assault.
A facility storing 5000 tons of fuel in Southern Russia, located in the city of Azov, has been engulfed in flames due to a drone attack, as stated by authorities. Fortunately, no casualties among the civilians have been reported, according to the Governor of the Rostov region, Vasili Golubev, via Telegram. As per the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the fire spreads across about 3200 square meters. Over 200 firefighters are present at the scene to put out the fire.
Ukraine has been combatting a Russian invasion for more than two years. The Ukrainian military predominantly focuses on striking Russian fuel storage facilities and refineries during nighttime drone attacks, aiming to hinder the Russian troops' supply. According to statements from Kiev, Russia launched ten combat drones in the wee hours of Tuesday. They were all taken down, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
