French President Macron advocates for halting weapons deliveries to Israel during the Gaza clashes.
Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, urged a ceasefire in supplying weapons to Israel, which are being utilized in the Gaza Strip, on Saturday. He stated during an interview on France Inter radio, "It's imperative we shift towards a 'political resolution' and halt weapons deliveries 'for the conflicts in the Gaza Strip.' France doesn't supply any weapons," he clarified.
Last year, on October 7, approximately 800 militants from Hamas and associated Islamic groups breached into southern Israel from Gaza Strip. As per Israeli reports, the death toll reached 1,205, majority being civilians, in various towns, at a music festival, and as hostages in Gaza Strip. Presently, 97 out of the 251 hostages held by Hamas are still imprisoned in Gaza Strip, with 33 confirmed dead by Israel.
After the significant attack by Hamas, Israel has been engaged in extensive military activities in the Gaza Strip. According to the statistics provided by the Hamas Health Ministry, over 41,800 individuals have allegedly lost their lives, however, these figures cannot be independently confirmed.

During a ceasefire discussion, Macron emphasized the necessity of moving towards a "political resolution" and halting weapons deliveries for the conflicts in the Gaza Strip.
