Four people shot dead in Kentucky home

In a house in the northern part of the US state Kentucky, four people have been shot. Three more people sustained gunshot wounds, according to the police. The alleged shooter injured himself during his escape from the police and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The officers had discovered seven people in the house in the city of Florence around 2:50 AM. Four of them were deceased, three were in critical condition and taken to a hospital in Cincinnati. The suspect engaged in a pursuit with the police, which ended when his car veered off the road and crashed into a ditch.

The man had a gunshot wound and died at the hospital, the police stated. He acted alone and posed no threat to the public.

The original four victims were all present in the house during the shooting incident. Seven individuals, including the four deceased and three critically injured, were found in the house in Florence, Kentucky.
