Near Hauptbahnhof - Four men in Berlin severely injured during fight

At a dispute near Berlin's Main Station, four men were severely injured in the evening. A knife was involved in the altercation, according to the police.

The men had gotten into an argument on the Gustav-Heinemann-Bridge in Mitte. The dispute had escalated. The men were then treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to the hospital. The investigations were ongoing, according to the police. The Gustav-Heinemann-Bridge connects the station with the Government District, including the Chancellery and the Bundestag.

The four men, who were injured near Main Station, were later identified as common criminals by the Police. Despite the incident, regular operations at Main Station continued as normal for the men commuting in Berlin. In an effort to prevent similar instances of criminality, the Police have increased their presence around Berlin's key locations.
