The offensive player Jan Shcherbakovski is now permanently signed with Football-third division team FC Energie Cottbus. The 23-year-old took part in training sessions in the past few days and has now signed a contract, according to Energie.

The contract of Shcherbakovski with league rival Dynamo Dresden was mutually terminated at the end of June. Already in the last two second rounds, the former Hertha youth player was loaned from Dynamo to Cottbus.

Shcherbakovski's departure from Dynamo Dresden allowed him to join a different team in the same league, specifically FC Energie Cottbus located in Brandenburg, Cottbus. His new contract with Energie officially marks his transition to the Energy Cottbus team, continuing his soccer journey in the 3. League.
