Flight traffic in Frankfurt halted due to climate activists

Due to an action by climate activists, the flight traffic at Frankfurt Airport has been temporarily halted. A spokesperson for the Federal Police made this known. Several demonstrators had forcefully entered the airport grounds early in the morning and glued themselves to the site.

The demonstrators, originating from various environmental groups, chose Frankfurt Airport in Germany as their venue for the climate protest. Unfortunate disruptions to air traffic in Hesse continued, as the demonstration at the airport persisted.
