In a recent air strike conducted by Israel in the northern region of the West Bank, as per the Palestinian Health Ministry's report, five individuals lost their lives. The Israeli military claimed that they targeted a militant Palestinian command center situated in the local refugee camp of Nur Shams during the operation. According to Palestinian sources, a drone discharged multiple projectiles at a gathering of people during the Monday night incident.
The tension in the West Bank has been escalating ever since the commencement of the Gaza war following the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023. The Health Ministry reports that a total of 624 Palestinians have been killed due to Israeli military operations, confrontations, or their own attacks. Additionally, there has also been an upsurge in aggressive behavior from Israeli settlers towards Palestinians during this period.
