Fisker Pear - with sunbathing lawn and solar roof

The US electric car manufacturer Fisker wants to add more models to its Ocean. The Pear crossover model, for which Fisker has come up with a few gimmicks - such as a "transparent" A-pillar and a sunbathing area in the interior - is scheduled for launch in 2025.

The electric car brand Fisker, which recently launched the Ocean e-SUV in Germany, is showcasing the pre-series version of the all-electric Pear compact model at the L.A. Auto Show (until November 26), which is due to be launched in 2025.

As an option, the Pear can be ordered as a six-seater. Instead of the usual two individual seats, there is then a two-part bench with three seats at the front.

The Pear is a five-door hatchback around four and a half meters long with a choice of five or six seats. Fisker describes the future model as a crossover, as it combines features of an SUV and compact vehicle.

In addition to rear-wheel drive, there will also be all-wheel drive, although the performance data has not yet been revealed. Fisker promises a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in under seven seconds. Depending on the battery size, the range should be 320 or 560 kilometers.

Various special features

The rear light of the Fisker Pear is a large LED oval.

Fisker has come up with a few gimmicks for the Pear. Among other things, the electric car will have a "transparent" A-pillar. Displays integrated on the inside of the pillars show the driver the viewing area that is actually concealed by the A-pillars. Another special feature of the Pear is a tailgate that can be lowered in two stages.

In the first stage, the rear window can disappear into the lower section of the rear door. In the second stage, this part, painted in the vehicle color, sinks into the substructure of the vehicle together with the rear windows.

If a parking space is tight, the Pear offers the advantage of a lowering rear door.

The storage space under the hood can be pulled out like a drawer. A glass roof equipped with solar cells can also be ordered. The seats in the interior can be folded down. Guests can then watch movies on an optional 17-inch screen on the sunbathing area.

Production is scheduled to start in summer 2025. The vehicle will initially be launched in the USA at a price of around 27,500 euros. The Pear will presumably also be available in Europe at a later date.

Fisker, as a US-American car manufacturer and car manufacturer focusing on electromobility, is expanding its electric car lineup with the Pear crossover model. The Pear, featuring unique features like a "transparent" A-pillar and a sunbathing area, is expected to hit the market in 2025, offering electric car enthusiasts an innovative ride.
