Fire - Fire in Wittenberge - high property damage

A vacant warehouse in Wittenberge caught fire and burned completely down. On Tuesday evening at around 8:30 pm, the fire department received a report of a fire at the Lenzener Chaussee. Initially, it was reported that a vacant warehouse of a larger building complex was involved. The fire department was still in action until early Thursday morning, extinguishing the flames. The damage is estimated to be around 100,000 Euros. The cause of the fire is currently unclear. Further investigations have been initiated.

The fire caused significant material damage to the vacant warehouse, estimating the costs to around 100,000 Euros. Despite the efforts of the fire department in Wittenberge, Brandenburg, the entire warehouse was reduced to ashes. Additional investigations by the fire department will aim to determine the origin of the fire.
