Fire on tourist boat - Fire in ship on harbor tour - no injuries

In a passenger ship during a harbor tour in Bremerhaven, a fire broke out. The 36 passengers and 3 crew members remained unharmed, as a fire department spokesperson stated. The fire originated in the engine room of the ship. The crew acted "very calmly" and managed to anchor the ship at the Kaiserhafen quay. According to a statement, the passengers were being evacuated by the ship's crew to the safe shore when the fire department arrived. The fire was then quickly extinguished.

The passenger ship was currently docked at Bremerhaven's Kaiserhafen quay for a tour when the incident occurred. Despite the fire in the engine room of the passenger ship, the tourist boat remained in Bremerhaven's harbor thanks to the crew's successful anchoring. The local fire department was promptly notified and arrived at the scene to put out the fire on the passenger ship. The tourist boat, known as a passenger ship, was a popular choice for sightseeing in Bremerhaven.
