In the basement of a seven-story multi-family house in Friedrichshain, a fire broke out during the night. Due to the numerous emergency calls, the control room increased the number of response units, as the fire department reported. On site, it was quickly possible to locate the fire: Two motor scooters in the basement of the house were on fire. The fire department was able to prevent the spread of the fire and quickly extinguish it. Surrounding vehicles were not damaged.

A resident of the house attempted to extinguish the fire himself and was slightly injured in the process. He was given medical treatment on site. 56 firefighters were present. Now, the police are investigating the cause of the fire.

The fire occurred in the deep garage of the multi-family house in Friedrichshain, Berlin. The Fire department's quick response was crucial in limiting the damage, as numerous emergency calls had alerted them. Despite the efforts of the Fire department and a resident trying to contain the blaze, a small injury occurred due to the fire.
