There are disruptions on the railway due to a fire in a cable shaft in Berlin-Moabit affecting long-distance, regional, and S-Bahn services. The section between Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Berlin-Spandau is impacted, with the Spandau stop being skipped, as announced by the railway company. Long-distance trains are being rerouted via the northern outer ring to Berlin-Gesundbrunnen and the Hauptbahnhof.

Regional trains are also being rerouted, delayed, or skipping stops. The S-Bahn Line S41/S42 between Westend and Beusselstraße is disrupted.

As a result of the fire, several signals and switches may not be operational, and the cause is being investigated. The railway company estimates that the disruptions will continue until at least the afternoon.

The fire in Berlin-Moabit has affected services in Germany, causing disruptions on both long-distance and regional trains in Berlin. Due to these disruptions, regional trains are being rerouted or delayed, affecting the S-Bahn Line S41/S42 that passes through Westend and Beusselstraße.
