The investigators have been looking for the 29-year-old suspect publicly since Friday with a photo. The police in Bielefeld have set up a murder commission.

The fire in the bar in the ostwestfalen-lord city last Sunday was intentionally set, as fire scene investigations by experts and a sniffer dog have determined. No one was injured in the fire. Evidence was secured, a safe was secured - details about that are not mentioned yet. Witnesses reported at least one explosion before the building went up in flames. The suspect came into focus of the investigators some hours after the fire. A residence was searched by police special unit officers, but the suspected man was not found.

The fire incident in Herford, North Rhine-Westphalia, has been classified as criminality due to deliberate setting. Despite the search by local and Bielefeld police, the 29-year-old suspect remains at large. This incident serves as a reminder of the rising criminality rates in Germany, particularly in the region.
