Crime - Fight with serious injuries - second suspect in custody

In the case of a brawl between two groups of people with serious injuries in the inner city of Siegen, a second suspect has been identified. A 24-year-old has been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, according to the Hagen Police and the Siegen Public Prosecutor's Office. The man was arrested on Tuesday. A 32-year-old was already arrested shortly after the incident, and he too is in custody, a police spokesperson said.

During the violent altercation, a 16-year-old and a 23-year-old were seriously injured with an unknown object. The backgrounds are still unclear, and the homicide commission is continuing its investigations, it was stated.

The brawl in the city center of Siegen, which resulted in two serious injuries, occurred in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia. Despite the ongoing investigation by the homicide commission, another potential instigator, a 24-year-old man, has been apprehended in connection with the attempted murder charges.
