The incident occurred around 7:30 am, with the girl falling approximately 20 meters into the water. At the time, her parents were still asleep.

The resuscitation attempts of the quickly arrived rescue services were unsuccessful. The police have launched an investigation. Initial findings suggest that this was an accident. The parents, who were planning to return to Ireland on Monday, will be supported by psychologists, it was reported.
