The Contender Kamala Harris and the US Democrats: A Gathering of Empowered Women

The American Democrats meticulously shaped the closing act of their convention into a women's celebration, featuring Kamala Harris as the leading contender against her rival, Donald Trump, in the presidential race. This political theater is not only a battle of political ideologies but also a struggle between the genders, touching upon women's rights, societal roles, and different perspectives. The Democratic convention successfully showcased this contrast, purposely crafted to emphasize the clash of visions.

Female Powerhouses at the Democratic Convention

In the span of a few days, influential women attended the Chicago convention in support of Harris. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, media personality Oprah Winfrey, and former presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton all graced the platform with their presence. The finale, dedicated exclusively to women, witnessed numerous female leaders, as well as Harris' family members, including her stepdaughter, sister, niece, and their offspring. Even female celebrities, such as actors Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington, shut their support by taking the stage.

The distinct feature that stood out was the sea of white donned by the women, symbolizing women's rights. As the crowd watched on, Harris' family members and female politicians dazzled the stage, joined by Harris' stepdaughter, and celebrated with "The Chicks" who performed the national anthem, while Pink and Willow shared a harmonious duet.

The Masculine Presence at the Republican Convention

At the Milwaukee Republican convention in July, the atmosphere was entirely contrasting. The late evening was marked by appearances from Hulk Hogan and Dana White, both having histories of domestic violence allegations. Hogan whipped up the crowd with his impassioned speech, punctuated by actions like removing his jacket and revealing an American-flag themed T-shirt beneath, causing a frenzy in the crowd.

The main musical act particularly drawn to Trump was Kid Rock, who energized the audience with fervor, shouting "Fight, fight!" into the hall. In the past, the iconic soul singer James Brown's "It's a Man's World" was chosen as the theme song for Trump's procession into the convention hall.

In contrast to the Masculine Presence at the Republican Convention, the United States of America witnessed a powerful display of female solidarity at the Democratic Convention. Prominent women, such as Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Hillary Clinton, rallying behind Kamala Harris, signified a significant shift in political dynamics.

This gathering in the United States of America underscored the importance of women's rights and empowerment in the Democratic Party's vision, highlighted by the sea of white attire and the performing artists advocating for feminist causes.
