FDA identifies additional cases of illness linked to Diamond Shruumz goods
Health concerns have been reported related to Diamond Shruumz products, including seizures, rigid muscles, irregular heart rate and blood pressure, and vomiting. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued an alert, stating that several individuals needed intensive care, intubation, and mechanical ventilation following the consumption of Diamond Shruumz's microdosing chocolate, cones, or gummies infused with mushrooms.
The specific reason behind these reported health issues remains ambiguous, but the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), CDC, America's Poison Centers, and local partners are investigating the matter. The FDA is reportedly in contact with Diamond Shruumz regarding a potential product recall.
The FDA advises consumers against consuming, selling, or serving Diamond Shruumz chocolate, cones, and gummies, which are claimed to contain a unique mushroom blend and have been available nationwide.

Brands have marketed mushroom-based products for their supposed benefits, such as enhanced focus, energy, hallucinations, and euphoria. However, the CDC urges consumers to steer clear of these products, claiming they might include hidden ingredients linked to severe illnesses.
Individuals experiencing symptoms post-consumption should seek immediate medical attention or call the Poison Control hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Adverse incidents may also be reported to the FDA's MedWatch program.
