In an instant, tragedy struck at a Polish weapons factory as one person lost their life in a fiery explosion. The fatality is a 59-year-old employed by this establishment, as police spokesperson communicated to TVN24. Sparked within one of Mesko's warehouse structures located in Skarzysko-Kamienna, flames have been successfully quenched by the on-site fire department. The events transpiring remain under investigation.

Elzbieta Sreniawska, Mesko's factory director, shares with "Onet.pl" that an explosion occurred in the rocket propellant center, newly opened a few years ago. Casualties incurred include one death and another person sustaining injuries. Reports suggest emergency medical aid via rescue helicopter will be dispatched to the incident location.

Skarzysko-Kamienna, in the Holy Cross Voivodeship, is positioned about 125 kilometers south of the capital Warsaw. Mesko, specializing in manufacturing, is renowned for producing various munitions - like anti-tank missile systems and short-range air defense systems.
