Accident at work - Falls through balcony - construction worker dies
After the worker at a construction site fell through a balcony at a building, a 38-year-old construction worker has passed away. The man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Tuesday, a police spokesperson announced on Wednesday upon request. Previously, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk reported.
The employee of a metal processing company, according to police information, fell through the balcony in the community of Kabelsketal in the Saalekreis on Monday and sustained severe injuries. He was revived and then taken to a clinic, it was reported.
In light of these events, necessary safety measures are being reviewed at construction sites across Saxony-Anhalt to prevent similar accidents. Unfortunately, the construction industry in Saxony-Anhalt has seen an increase in work-related accidents.
