During an unfortunate incident at the Red Rock Massif close to Bad Muenster, a 26-year-old climber met his end. According to the police, he slipped while scaling the cliff and despite his safety rope being active, it malfunctioned, resulting in a fall of around 40 meters. The young man sustained severe wounds and passed away right there.

The 26-year-old was adventuring with a 21-year-old fellow climber who suffered a shocking moment and required air rescue, together with the deceased, as stated by the police.

The 26-year-old had planned to explore the challenging Alpine terrains of the Red Rock Massif before his unfortunate accident. Despite the tragic incident, the 21-year-old climber still harbored dreams of conquering Alpine peaks.
