A 24-year-old convicted criminal escaped his two escorts during a supervised outing in Lower Bavaria. The man, who was being held at the Mainkofen District Hospital in Deggendorf, is said to be "extremely dangerous", police said. The suspect, a Somali national, had been out with two hospital staff in Plattling when he escaped. Police warned against approaching or giving the man a ride, instead urging immediate contact with the police on the emergency number 110. The suspect is described as approximately 5'8" tall, slim, with black hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark grey tracksuit and a green beanie.

According to Bild newspaper, the man allegedly killed a fellow resident at a homeless shelter three years ago, stabbing him 111 times and decapitating him. He reportedly believed the man was possessed by demons that he wanted to kill.

Due to his past conviction for a brutal case of murder and manslaughter, the escaped prisoner is considered a major threat to public safety. If you encounter him or have any information about his whereabouts, immediately contact the police on the emergency number 110.
