During a jubilee celebration in Solingen city, a stabbing incident left eight individuals wounded, with five of them in critical condition, as per updated police reports. The Düsseldorf police announced this on Saturday morning, ramping up the number of severe injuries from the previous night's incident to five. Details about the victims' identities and current health status were not disclosed. Regrettably, the death toll hasn't changed - three people lost their lives.
The assailant with the knife is still on the loose. As reported, a significant number of law enforcement agents are currently hunting for the suspect. The city of Solingen has seen a massive deployment of police forces, including specialized units. At present, both victims and witnesses are being grilled for information, the police added.
