Ex-AfD MP's car destroyed
In Bremen, the car of a former AfD member of the Bundestag is targeted in an arson attack. The vehicle is completely destroyed. The state protection department is investigating.
In Bremen, an arson attack was carried out on a car belonging to a former member of the Bundestag and state parliament of the AfD. As reported by the police in the Hanseatic city, the state protection department is investigating and exploring a "politically motivated background".
The van, parked on a public parking lot in the Walle district, reportedly caught fire during the night, resulting in total damage to the vehicle. The identity of the former politician is not being disclosed by the investigators.
According to a report by Radio Bremen, the former AfD politician Frank Magnitz is believed to be involved, as he had a heated dispute with other members of the Bremen AfD. However, Magnitz did not wish to comment on the matter when contacted by the station.
The arson attack on the car occurred in the same city where Frank Magnitz, a former AfD member, resides – Bremen. Despite the suspicion surrounding him due to a recent disagreement with other Bremen AfD members, Magnitz has remained silent on the incident.
