A victor hailing from North Rhine-Westphalia has hit the jackpot, pocketing approximately 92.5 million euros. Westlotto confirmed this tidbit in the evening hours. The successful combination was 8, 11, 25, 31, 48, with the Euro numbers being 11 and 12.
North Rhine-Westphalia has already seen close to 90 million euros from Eurojackpot - back in July, a staggering 98.2 million euros were won by the region. And in April, a 42-year-old from NRW was one of two primary winners, receiving a whopping 120 million euros.
Eurojackpot: Second Prize Category yields close to half a million
The night's draw brought joy to several other winners: Six tickets originating from Bavaria, Lower Saxony, and North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as Greece, Hungary, and Poland, clinched 475,375 euros each in the second prize category.
The odds of winning Eurojackpot are 1 in 140 million. Participants pick 5 numbers out of 50, and then opt for 2 Euro numbers from a pool of 12.
