Shortly before the final - EM-Boost with concerts and e-sports

Despite the last EM game in NRW taking place in Dortmund for the semifinals, the program in NRW locations continues until the final on Sunday. In Dortmund's Westfalenpark, there are concert days at the end of the EM weekend.

On Friday, approximately Michael Schulte and Clueso perform for free outside. On Saturday, Alice Merton and Die Fantastischen 4 perform in the Westfalenpark. Since the number of visitors is limited to 18,000, tickets must be purchased in advance, according to the organizer. This costs 5 Euros for service fees. However, the ticket includes free public transportation on the respective day.

E-Sport Program in Dortmund

Fans in Dortmund can then watch the final on Sunday in the Fanzone Friedensplatz. A LED cube built around the Peace Monument with four screens will broadcast the game in four directions. In addition, there is an extensive E-Sports program in the Fanzone until Sunday. This includes tournament and quiz formats as well as meetings with professional E-Footballers, according to the organizer.

On Sunday, the final is shown at the Burgplatz and at the Schauspielhaus. Whether the public viewing area on the Rhine embankment is used depends on the audience flow, according to a city spokesperson. Visitors to the Rheinkirmes starting on Friday can also follow the final. The final is shown in the Festzelt of the Shooters near the Rhine quay.

Cologne had already drastically reduced public viewing in the city after the German team's elimination from the EM. The public viewing at the Tanzbrunnen and the public viewing area on the Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer will no longer be used, the city announced. Fans can watch the final in Cologne in the Fanzone at the Heumarkt. However, numerous bars and pubs will also broadcast the game.
