In it, Musk stated that he was "manipulated" when he signed the documents for Wilson's medical treatment four years ago. In essence, he had lost his son to the "Woke Mind Virus." The term "Woke" refers to efforts and attitudes against discrimination.
"He is heartless and narcissistic"
Wilson contradicted Musk's account. She had suffered from severe gender dysphoria, meaning she felt her biological gender assigned at birth was incorrect. Therefore, she decided at 16 to undergo medical treatment with puberty blockers and later hormone therapy. She needed the consent of both parents. Musk initially did not support her, but after some persuasion, he read and signed the documents "at least twice." "He was not manipulated," she said.
Musk was hardly present in her life as a father, Wilson added. "He was cold," he got angry quickly, "he is heartless and narcissistic." Musk bullied her in her childhood because of her "feminine features." When NBC asked for a comment from Musk, they did not receive a response.
The billionaire belongs to the world's richest people. Politically, the South African native stands on the side of the American Right. He had already criticized the medical care of adolescents who do not identify with their biological gender before.
