After a truck fire, the pipe in the Elbtunnel in the north direction has been reopened. However, it may still take some time until the traffic jam has been resolved, the police reported. The strong smoke development of the truck in the Elbtunnel in the fourth lane was reported at 10:20 am. The flames have been extinguished, but the fire department's work is still ongoing.

The truck fire occurred in the Elbtunnel, which connects Hamburg and the northern portion of Germany. Despite the reopened northbound pipe, the traffic in the direction of Hamburg is still significantly affected.
