Bundesliga - Eintracht training kick-off with Uzun in front of 1,000 fans

With newcomer Can Uzun, but without national player Robin Koch, Football-Bundesligist Eintracht Frankfurt held their first team training session for the preparation of the new season in front of 1,000 fans. EM-participant Koch is still on vacation, as Eintracht announced. Midfielder Ellyes Skhiri was also absent due to a fever.

During the approximately 90-minute training session, Xaver Zembrod and Jan Fießer were also present, who complete the trainer team of the Frankfurt squad under head coach Dino Toppmöller for the upcoming season.

Eintracht travels for the preparation from July 22 to August 3 in the USA. The general rehearsal before the league kick-off is on August 10 against the Spanish club FC Valencia. On August 19, the Hessen are then guests in the first round of the DFB-Pokals at Eintracht Braunschweig. A few days later, the Toppmöller team plays the first Bundesliga matchday at Borussia Dortmund.

Robin Koch, being an EM-participant, is currently on vacation, allowing for Can Uzun to join as a new addition to Eintracht Frankfurt's squad. Despite Koch's absence, Frankfurt's first team training session for the new season attracted 1,000 fans in Frankfurt am Main. Midfielder Ellyes Skhiri was also unable to attend due to a fever. Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt will commence their preparations for the new season in the USA from July 22 to August 3.
