The EHC Red Bull Munchen have signed forward Adam Brooks. As the club from the German ice hockey league announced, the 28-year-old Canadian is set to strengthen Munchen's offense.
Brooks, who played 45 games in the National Hockey League (NHL), was previously under contract with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the second-tier American Hockey League (AHL).
In the past two seasons, Brooks scored 66 points (25 goals/41 assists) in 110 games for his former team. "I have already fallen in love with the city and its people during a visit last summer. When the offer came, this experience also played a big role in my decision," said the forward about his latest transfer.
"We didn't want the quickest, but the best solution in our opinion," commented Munchen's manager Christian Winkler on the transfer. "With his speed and other outstanding abilities, he will make our team even better."
