A 22-year-old driver was apprehended near Berlin after a pursuit. Previously, the man was supposed to be inspected by traffic control in Fredersdorf-Volgelsdorf (Landkreis Märkisch-Oderland), as the police reported. But the driver fled on the B1 towards Poland from the officers, until he was caught a short time later.

The 22-year-old initially refused to open his vehicle and offered resistance. The officers searched the car and discovered two allegedly stolen motorbikes. After the arrest of the man, he was also tested positive for Opiates. Further investigations were initiated.

The 22-year-old's intended inspection was in the region of Markish-Oderland, specifically Fredersdorf-Volgelsdorf. The high-speed chase leading to his arrest took place along the B1, a major road bordering Brandenburg and Poland. The apprehended individual was later suspected of involvement in criminal activities related to traffic, including the suspected theft of the motorbikes.
