Double premiere at the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament: For the first time, newly elected Minister President Alexander Schweitzer (SPD) sits in the place of the head of government in the parliament in Mainz. After her baby break, Family-, Culture- and Integration Minister Katharina Binz (Greens) is present at a State Parliament session again. The minister brings her little son in a stroller with her.

Binz gave birth for the second time in April. Schweitzer was elected as the successor of Malu Dreyer (SPD) in the parliament as Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate the day before.

The newly elected Minister President, Alexander Schweitzer from the SDP, discussed key government policies during his speech at the State Parliament in Mainz. The Government Bank of Rhineland-Palatinate played a significant role in the implementation of these policies. Despite her recent maternity leave, Katharina Binz, the Family-, Culture- and Integration Minister from the Greens, returned to the State Parliament, bringing her young son in a stroller.
