Formerly Twitter - Disruption at X: social media platform unavailable for more than an hour
The social media platform X (formerly Twitter) was affected by a massive, apparently worldwide disruption on Thursday morning. Both in the app and in the browser view, users only saw the greeting "Welcome to X!" - no trace of the usual feed.
The same applies to profiles. They were still accessible in principle. However, tweets were not displayed here either.
After about an hour, the problem was apparently resolved.
Disruption at X / Twitter: Tweetdeck apparently also affected
Thousands of users reported problems with X on the "All faults" platform after 6 am. The news agency Reuters reported that there were also loading problems with X Pro, the former Tweetdeck service.

The disruption at X (formerly Twitter) affected not just the main platform, but also the short news service Tweetdeck, which was reportedly experiencing loading issues as well. The malfunction on Twitter caused a substantial disruption, leaving users unable to access their feeds or view tweets for over an hour.
