Delta Airline Expresses Regrets to Its Passengers
After an incident during a flight, where passengers allegedly had nose and ear bleeds due to pressure problems, Delta Airlines has shown remorse to its passengers. The plane, taking off from Salt Lake City towards Portland at an altitude of 10,000 feet, struggled to control the cabin pressure, Delta clarified on Thursday. The flight eventually had to turn back to Salt Lake City.
Upon landing, around ten passengers required medical attention or assessment, according to reports. Passengers speaking to KSL TV revealed that their fellow travelers started feeling headaches immediately following takeoff on the previous Sunday, with some even experiencing nose or ear bleeding.
Contrary to the reported pressure loss, no oxygen masks were activated, according to Delta. The affected Boeing 737-900 was then fixated and put back into operation the next day.
The incident report highlighted lines detailing the sequence of events during the flight, including the struggle to maintain cabin pressure. Despite the pressure issues, no lines from the oxygen masks were deployed.
