IT-Panic - Deichbrand-Festival affected by global IT-panic
The global IT issue also caused some disruption to the Deichbrand Festival's program in Lower Saxony. Some artists did not arrive on time, and some performances were rescheduled. "We are still feeling the after-effects of yesterday's IT problems and have therefore made some program changes due to cancelled flight connections," the festival's Instagram page stated.
The performance of the Austrian singer Verifiziert was cancelled altogether. She posted on Instagram that her Eurowings flight was cancelled and wrote, "no Deichbrand Festival. I'm so sad today."
The British band Circa Waves unfortunately arrived later than planned, so they will now perform from 21:20 PM to 22:10 PM, the festival organizers announced. The British rock band Big Special failed to appear on stage as planned on Friday. They therefore performed in the evening - on another stage. The duo from Birmingham thanked the organizers for this on Instagram.
