End of August - Day of the Open Door in Frankfurt Bahnhofsviertel

At the end of August, the Bahnhofsviertel in Frankfurt invites visitors, both female and male, to an Open Day. On August 31st, initiatives, social institutions and associations, as well as galleries and studios, will open their doors and offer tours, as announced by the Treffpunkt Bahnhofsviertel business association. The gastronomy will also be on hand with numerous offers. Five stages will provide programming.

This year, the event will be celebrated under the title "Open Viertel" for the second time. It is aimed at all those who love Frankfurt and its Bahnhofsviertel and want to explore it, stated Economic Affairs Senator Stephanie Wüst (FDP). The program will be available from August 1st at www.viertel.app.

The daytime event replaced the previously very popular Bahnhofsviertelnacht, which had attracted tens of thousands of revelers last time. The idea of making the quarter experience its diversity was not fulfilled with that, the city explained as the reason. The Bahnhofsviertel continues to make headlines with drug crime and trash, most recently around the European Football Championship.
