Serious traffic accident - Cyclist run over by truck - course of accident unclear

A cyclist was run over by a turning truck and seriously injured in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. The 65-year-old cyclist was riding on Neumannstraße on Tuesday morning when the truck turned right into Wisbyer Straße, according to the police. The cyclist collided with the truck and sustained severe injuries to one leg. He was taken to a hospital for surgery. The police are now investigating how the accident occurred and from which direction the cyclist came.

The police are looking into the course of the traffic accident in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, focusing on the direction from which the cyclist was approaching Wisbyer Straße. Despite the heavy traffic in the area, this particular accident has caused significant disruptions to the usual course of traffic on Neumannstraße and Wisbyer Straße. In light of multiple traffic accidents in Berlin recently, city officials are calling for increased police presence and safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
