Customs discover more than 1.5 kilos of cocaine under car seat

Customs check a small car on the highway - and discover two packages of cocaine. The drug was not hidden in such an ingenious way.

At a control on Autobahn 81 in Geisingen (District Tuttlingen), customs officers found more than 1.6 kilos of cocaine in a small car. The drug, with a sales value of around 115,000 Euro, was hidden under the seats in two packages, according to the customs office. The two men in the car, aged 25 and 28, had stated during the control in mid-June that they were on their way to see a friend. A criminal proceedings have been initiated against them for violating the Narcotics Act.

  1. The men in the small car, originating from Baden-Württemberg, claimed they were visiting a friend, but their journey led to a significant cocaine find.
  2. The discoverted cocaine, amounting to a kilo and six hundred grams, was concealed ingeniously under the car seats in two separate packages.
  3. The seizure of such a large quantity of cocaine in a small car in Tuttlingen is a significant crime that will be aggressively prosecuted.
  4. Despite their assertion that they were transporting nothing illegal, the incriminating evidence in the form of a kilo of cocaine in the car seat left no doubt about their guilt.
