During a supervised outing, a 24-year-old convicted criminal escaped from his two escorts in Lower Bavaria. The man, convicted for a homicide, was residing at the district hospital in Mainkofen, Deggendorf, according to the police. Authorities described him as "extremely dangerous." A search is underway, with a helicopter also deployed.

The Somali man had been traveling with two hospital employees in Plattling when he escaped, a police spokesperson stated. Authorities explicitly warned against approaching or offering the man a ride. Instead, they urged immediate notification of the police by dialing the emergency number 110.

Public Appeal for Information

Due to the man's escape, the local authorities are urging the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the Police immediately. The 24-year-old, considered extremely dangerous, should not be approached or offered assistance.
