Fire alarm - Cosmetician on fire - Hotel in Travemunde evacuated
Due to a burning Cosmetics waste bin at a hotel in Lübeck-Travemünde, the building was evacuated at night. The police are investigating for attempted serious arson. "The fire alarm was triggered," said a police spokesperson. "The entire building was completely evacuated." This caused quite a stir. During the evacuation, one person suffered a fainting spell.
The spokesperson could not say how many people had to leave the building. "The professional fire department then entered the building with breathing equipment and located the source of the fire." It was a cosmetics waste bin at a toilet. There was no damage to the building.
The incident took place in the Lübeck-Travemünde area, specifically at a hotel. The fire department was called from Schleswig-Holstein to address the situation. Despite the fire alarm and the evacuation, the cosmetics waste bin was successfully extinguished, causing no substantial damage to the Lübeck-Travemünde hotel.
