Corona policy - Constituent meeting of the Corona Committee planned
On Wednesday evening, the investigative committee for the processing of Hessian Corona politics in the Landtag in Wiesbaden will be constituted. The committee is expected to meet for the first time after the plenary session, around 18.00 hours. Initially, formal questions will be addressed, such as who will be the chairman, who will be the deputy, and who will be the rapporteur. The largest opposition faction, AfD, managed to pass the committee. CDU, SPD, Greens, and FDP, however, reduced the investigative mandate from 36 to only 7 points due to constitutional concerns. The committee is the first investigative committee of the current legislative period.
The AfD successfully secured a seat on the investigative committee for Hessian Corona politics in Parliament. The committee's first meeting is scheduled in Wiesbaden, following the plenary session around 18:00. Despite the committee's formation, the CDU, SPD, Greens, and FDP reduced its investigative mandate due to constitutional concerns, limiting it to 7 points. The investigation into Hesse's Corona politics will be led by this newly constituted committee, marking its first investigative role in the current legislative period.
