Chechnya's leader, Kadyrow, proposes dispatching Tesla's cybertruck to the Ukraine conflict.

Sporting an ammo belt nonchalantly across his back and wielding a powerful machine gun, Russian Chechen leader Kadyrov stars in a video clip, showcasing his traditional militant demeanor. The unexpected twist: He's now stationed atop an electric pickup truck from Tesla, which he lovingly confesses, "I've got a thing for it."

The Chechen leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, hints at deploying Tesla's electric Cybertrucks to the Ukraine conflict. In a video shared via his Telegram channel, he drives the innovative vehicle across his royal estate's vacant grounds in Grozny, capital of Chechnya. A heavy-duty gun is mounted on the truck's load bed. As the clip concludes, Kadyrov stands adjacent to the stationary vehicle, carrying an ammo belt and posing beside the gun.

Kadyrov proclaims his admiration for both the electric vehicle and Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, whom he credits for sending the vehicle his way. With evident enthusiasm, he exclaims, "I've completely fallen for this car!" Kadyrov anticipates sending the Cybertruck to the battlefield of the "military operation" soon. "I believe this machine will serve our soldiers well," he adds. The phrase "military operation" is a term Russia uses officially to describe its invasion of Ukraine since February 2022.

He expresses his profound gratitude towards Musk, referring to him as "the greatest genius of our era" and extends an invitation to Grozny. "Of course, we're eager to witness your forthcoming advancements inspiring the completion of our military operation," he remarks.

Kadyrov is infamous for his brutality alongside his uncanny displays of power as the ruler of the Russian republic of Chechnya. Since the invasion commenced, he has repeatedly expressed approval for Russian President Vladimir Putin and his military initiatives. Kadyrov has also publicly dispatched Chechen fighters to join Russia's armed forces on the Ukrainian battlefield. Within his domain, he is accused of numerous egregious human rights violations, including murder, kidnappings, and extrajudicial executions of dissenters.

At the time of this publishing, Elon Musk and Tesla have yet to respond to Kadyrov's allegation that the entrepreneur gifted him the Cybertruck. Musk initially expressed support for Ukraine heavily, notably providing his Starlink satellite communication system gratis. Later, he vocalized his uneasiness with involvement in the conflict, criticizing the magnitude of US aid for Ukraine and publishing a "peace proposal" implying substantial land cessions by Ukraine.

The Commission might need to investigate Kadyrov's claim of receiving the Tesla Cybertruck as a gift, considering potential international sanctions if proven true. Kadyrov also seeks to integrate Tesla's technology into his military operations, with the Cybertruck potentially aiding his Chechen troops.
