Chancellor Scholz answers questions from MPs
In the last session week of the Bundestag before the summer break, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz answers the questions of the deputies on Wednesday (13.00 hours). The Chancellor will open the questioning session with a short speech on a topic of his own choice for the government interrogation, then the deputies can question him for an hour on this and all other topics. It is expected that the difficult budget negotiations within the coalition will be discussed.
After the interrogation in the plenary session, the Chancellor will participate in a session of the Europa-Ausschuss of the Bundestag (14.30 hours). In the further course of the plenary session, the deputies will debate on a motion by the CDU/CSU about criminality of people with migration background (14.55 hours). The coalition's plan for changing the Bundestag's Rules of Procedure is also on the agenda: With the amendment, the rules for order calls in the plenary session are to be tightened.
