Since the June cyber-attack on the CDU network was revealed, the party chairperson Friedrich Merz's information was also involved. According to the CDU spokesperson, they found out during the investigation that "details from the chairman's appointment schedule had been made public." They shared this information with the German Press Agency on Thursday.
