A warning was published by the food warning portal Lebensmittelwarnung.de after Salmonella was discovered in a certain sesame product. This warning applies to the product "Uncle Taufik Tahina," manufactured or distributed by Taufik Ibrahim Import & Export from Bexbach, Saarland. According to the recall, the affected products come in packages of 400 or 800 grams and have an expiration date of February 22, 2026, with a charge number of "Parti.No: 0207."

Anyone consuming these products is at risk for a Salmonella infection, which commonly causes diarrhea, stomach pain, occasional vomiting, and mild fever within a few days of contamination. While most individuals experience mild symptoms, infants, young children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems may develop more severe cases of the disease.
