At an accident in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, a car overturned. According to the police, a person was lightly injured. Two cars were involved in the accident at the intersection Danziger Straße/Prenzlauer Allee - one of the cars overturned for unknown reasons and remained on its roof, as stated by the police. The lightly injured person was taken to a hospital. The circumstances of the accident are reportedly unknown at this time.

The people involved in the accident were able to free themselves from the cars independently, according to the fire department.

The traffic in the area around Danziger Straße/Prenzlauer Allee was heavily affected due to the car accident. The Berlin police are investigating if automatic traffic cameras captured any footage of the accident. To prevent similar accidents, traffic authorities are considering installing additional traffic signs at the intersection.
