Football-Bundesliga - BVB wins the first test game under Sahin

Borussia Dortmund won the first game under new trainer Nuri Sahin. The Bundesligist defeated an amateur football team from Dortmund with a score of 7:1 (2:1).

After the early double strike from Felix Nmecha (4th and 6th minute), it took some time before Youssoufa Moukoko (75./ 82.) as well as youth players Alumgera Kabar (63.), Ayman Azhil (77.), and Cedric Brunner (88.) scored the additional goals for the Champions League finalist.

BVB coach Sahin, who succeeded Erdin Terzic in the summer, had only trained with the team for the first time during the season preparation on a Wednesday. Some national players who were in action at the European Championship are still missing.

Following his appointment as Borussia Dortmund's new trainer, Nuri Sahin led the team to a triumphant test game against a local amature team from Dortmund, securing a convincing 7-1 victory. In this Bundesliga preparatory match, Youssoufa Moukoko, Alumgera Kabar, Ayman Azhil, and Cedric Brunner joined Felix Nmecha in scoring for BVB. Despite the success, some international players from Dortmund who participated in the recent European Championship are yet to join the squad. As Borussia Dortmund continues its training in North Rhine-Westphalia, Sahin looks forward to leading his team in their upcoming Bundesliga test games and the official 2021-2022 season matches in Germany.
