Anyone residing in the affected regions should immediately and on their own accord head to the Diedorf Schmuttertalhalle. Authorities also urged residents to steer clear of railway underpasses. Floodwaters may flow into these areas, posing a risk to life.

Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder and Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann are en route to the flooded region in the Swabian district of Augsburg. The purpose of their visit is to gauge the situation in Diedorf. Originally, the two CSU politicians aimed to see the damage in Fischach.
