Exercise - Bundeswehr convoy drives right through Bavaria
On coming Thursday, a large convoy of the Bundeswehr will travel through Bavaria from the underfrankish Hammelburg to the upper bavarian Bad Reichenhall. The entire convoy consists of approximately 200 wheeled vehicles and will be divided into several, time-delayed groups, the Bundeswehr in Bad Reichenhall reported.
The individual march columns are up to one and a half kilometers long and relatively slow moving. The journey length is almost 470 kilometers and mainly takes place on autobahans and federal roads. Motorists and other traffic participants are advised to maintain large distances from the vehicle columns and for safety reasons not to pass between individual vehicles, it was stated.
